  • We reserve the right to refuse any dog for any reason at any time.

  • Pick-ups must be completed by 7.00pm. Late fees will be applied as per the daycare terms and conditions

Bookings should not be made until the dog has been approved, you will be notified if your application has been approved and a screening of your dog will be booked in, you will then be notified on the same day of screening if your dog has been approved.

Bookings are to be made online and paid for at the time of booking. You will receive a confirmation email and link to make any changes to dates or times.

Unlike other daycares we provide flexibility for bookings, you are not required to drop your dog off by a certain time in the morning, you may book from the time that is suitable for you, for example, if you start work at 11am you may drop your dog off at 10.30am or whichever time is suitable.

Our timings and charges are based on half-days – up to 4 hours and full days – up to a maximum of 10 hours. Thus if you require a 6-hour booking you will be required to pay for the full-day option.

All dogs must be collected by or at 7 pm. Should you have any special requirements please feel free to contact us to see if we can accommodate your needs.

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to allow for the slot to be re-advertised, any cancellations made after this time cannot be refunded.

However, we appreciate unforeseen events can occur so we do allow for late cancellations to be rescheduled and thus the funds remain usable, this does not entitle you to a refund if you cancel the rescheduled appointment; any bookings rescheduled within the 48 hour period cannot be refunded and only rescheduled.

If Fleurs Friendly Fields, cannot provide the service agreed, we will do our best to arrange an alternative, unless in extreme circumstances, where we will endeavor to give 24 hours notice. If cancellation is made by Fleurs Friendly Fields you are entitled to a full refund or able to reschedule your appointment.

You may cancel by call, text, email or via the online booking system. If the call is not answered please leave a voice mail covering full booking details i.e name time date. Should you not cancel in advance or reschedule within the time periods above (48 hours) - your account will still be charged for the time slot automatically. By making the bookings and signing up as above you have agreed and authorised payments to be charged for your timeslot should you fail to attend or reschedule, this automatic charge applies to cancellations for all facilities i.e daycare/training/paddock.

All dogs must have up to date vaccinations against canine parvovirus, canine distemper, infectious canine hepatitis (adenovirus), leptospirosis. All dogs must also be kept up to date with kennel cough vaccinations and on a flea and worm treatment plan. A Titer test can be provided as an alternative to booster vaccinations as we are aware some dogs may not be able to have booster vaccinations, for example on medical grounds.

Fleurs Friendly Fields will follow instructions to administer medications as directed but cannot be held responsible for complications that arise as a result.

We require a copy of a valid vaccination certificate or in date Titer tests. We reserve the right to refuse a dogs entry if verification of the date of vaccination/booster cannot be provided.

If anyone is bitten or exposed to any disease or ailment received from your dog(s) which has not been properly or currently vaccinated, you will be responsible for all costs and damages that may be incurred as a result.

Primary vaccinations must be completed 2 weeks prior to boarding. Homoepathic vaccinations are not acceptable.

If there is evidence of parasites (fleas, ticks, worms) we will consult a vet and potentially treat the dog with appropriate products, it is the owners’ duty to be up to date with parasite prevention, and therefore if we are required to treat the dog, costs must be covered upon collection by the owner.

Screening procedure

An application form and screening meeting must be completed before any booking for day-care is made. Application forms can be downloaded and printed then emailed or posted back to us or completed online. Only approved dogs will be accepted for day-care. That said, unlike many other doggy day-cares, we can accommodate dogs that are requested not to or unable to socialise with other dogs, for example, due to age, injury, anxieties and so forth.  Dogs with behavioural issues such as hyperactive, leash pulling, chewing or similar, will not be refused and we can work with you on training.

The key refusal element will be aggression, due to being handled by varying staff, any dogs that have aggression towards humans will not be accepted, minor anxieties or possessive food/toy tendencies with other dogs can be tolerated as we can keep them separated; that said a dog that will be in extreme distress with other dogs passing by or near its vicinity will not be accepted, this is to ensure no dog is put into stressful situations.

Collection/Drop off

When you arrive please drive to the Fleurs Friendly Fields office (as located on the confirmation email and NOT the farm office at the entrance) to sign your dog in. Do not get your dog out of the vehicle until a member of staff has signed you in and confirmed it is safe to do so, there may be dogs that are not socialised passing by. Your dog must be on a leash when getting out of your vehicle, s/he will then be led by staff to the allocated pen until the enrichment programme begins. Please ensure any required foods or medications are handed over labeled with your dog(s) details and requirements.

On collection, again drive to Fleurs Friendly Fields office as located on the confirmation email and NOT the farm office at the entrance, a member of staff will collect your dog and do a quick handover informing you of any findings on the daily monitoring log. Again you must not remove your dogs' leash until secured inside your vehicle.

Your dog must be dropped off at the time booked, if you arrive too early we may not have the facilities ready for your dog and this may cause you to be required to wait in your vehicle until your booked time. We will however always work with you so please contact us if you have any concerns relating to arrival/departure times.

Should you be running late please let us know your new estimated arrival time as soon as possible; we have very active diaries allocated for the dog’s enrichment programmes and we will need to ensure timings are moved around to accommodate your new arrival time. Please note if you are late for your booking, this timing cannot be added on to the end, it is the owners’ responsibility to ensure travel time or delays have been accounted for before departure.

Please provide secure collars with appropriate up to date tags for all visits. We can provide leads and harnesses for walks, however, you may bring the dogs own lead if you wish.

Transportation is the owners’ responsibility; in the event of an emergency you will be contacted, if you are unavailable, your emergency contact will be contacted to transport your dog to your registered vets. However, in the event, the timing would be unreasonable in the circumstances or your dog needs immediate transport, we will transport your pet to his/her registered vets or our registered vets dependent upon which is more suitable in the situation.

In the unlikely event that the 2 available Fleurs vehicles are unavailable or multiple dogs need transporting and are not suitable to be transported together, then we may have to outsource to local pet taxi services. Should this occur the owner will be required to reimburse the fees incurred by Fleurs Friendly Field having to outsource to a third party.

Dogs will only be transported if there in a suitable travel crate, guard or travel harness to ensure their safety.

Injury or illness

Please let us know if your dog has any health issues that would impact his or her stay in our daycare. Examples include injuries, recent surgery/stitches, skin conditions, illness, history of seizures, allergies, etc. We will do our best to accommodate any special health needs your dog may have.

Please do not bring your dog to daycare if he or she is showing signs of illness. Symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, rashes, coughing, or discharge from the eyes or nose may indicate an illness that could be contagious to other dogs. If your dog shows signs of illness while at daycare, we will remove him or her from the pack to a quiet area, and then alert you or your emergency contact.

Your dog’s health and safety at our daycare is of the utmost important to us. In the course of playtime with other dogs throughout the day, minor injuries such as scrapes or bumps may occur. In the event that your dog becomes sick or injured during the day, our staff will assist him or her immediately to ensure his or her safety. We will then contact you, or your emergency contact, to alert you of the situation.

No dogs showing signs of a contagious disease will be allowed to board until 30 days after any treatment has been completed. All dogs are required to be vaccinated or Titer tested to prevent the chance of catching or spreading of diseases. Owners are responsible for ensuring their dogs treatments are up to date, we cannot be liable for any illness incurred due to lack of vaccinations.

Should a dog be suspected of an illness or injury whilst in our care, a vet will be contacted for advice immediately and this information will be recorded and logged; the owner and or emergency contact will be contacted immediately to arrange appropriate collection and treatments.

If the above method is not reasonable in the circumstances we will arrange the emergency vet visit should first aid be unsuitable. We will always try to use the dogs own vet were reasonable to do so. Should this be unreasonable we are registered with Vets4Pets Mansfield for emergency treatments or isolation. The owners are responsible for costs of treatments for their dog(s).

First aid will only be completed by competent staff and stock of first aid kits will be replaced/ordered after each use.

Unforeseen Purchases

In the event that additional items need to be purchased in the absence of the client – i.e. pet food, parasite treatment or other necessary items that contribute to the health and wellbeing of your pet, the pet service provider will purchase these, retain a receipt and the pet owner is responsible for reimbursement of these items on their return.

Updated details

Please inform us of any changes regarding your contact numbers, your pet’s care needs, your emergency contact details and other pertinent information.

Fleurs Friendly Fields shall not be liable or be deemed to be in breach of the contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of its obligations in relation to the services, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond the pet service provider’s reasonable control. Fleurs Friendly Fields shall not be liable for dogs that contract illness through the owners failure to vaccinate against them.

The free training offered

We use reward based training methods and use both body language and command words.

Whilst at day-care we will provide free leash and recall training, as well socialisation skills as part of the service when walking your dog(s); however, whilst their leash and recall skills are likely to be dramatically improved, this training is not offered for guaranteed outcomes or promises, if you require formal training you may book this separately.

Care of animals in the event of an emergency

Whilst we ensure all due care, prevention equipment, and risk assessments are taken, we are required to have an emergency procedure in place for the care of the animals in the event of emergencies. This can be for the likes of a serious fire or multiple staff injury/illness.

In the event of an emergency, you agree that we may contact you to inform you of the emergency and request your dog is collected, or that if you are unreachable or delayed that we may contact your emergency contact to collect your dog on your behalf (you will receive a full refund for this days stay).

For peace of mind should any emergency ever occur we have a separate large building located away from the day-care buildings to house your dog(s) should it be required, enrichment programmes and regular walks in the paddock will continue until you or your emergency contact arrive for collection of your dog(s) to ensure no distress is caused, we keep your dog(s) calm and happy.
