Family members are always welcome but all children under 16 must be accompanied and supervised at all times by an adult and must at no time climb/use the obstacle equipment.

Please leave the paddock promptly at the end of each session to prevent any dog confrontation with the next user, if you need any help retrieving your dog we are on site to lend a hand whenever you need.
Please only use dog equipment you are familiar with to ensure the safety of your dog(s), if you are not sure how to use it you may book a training session/bring a trainor with you.
Pick up after your dogs please (poo bags will be onsite) and do not allow dogs to pee on the equipment where possible – accidents do sometimes happen, so let us know so that the area can be washed down.
Biodegradable poo bags will be provided on-site free of charge, but please bring your own as stock cannot be guaranteed at all times.
It is your responsibility to ensure your dog is fit and healthy and is not suffering from any infectious disease that could be transmitted to any other dogs prior to attending, any dogs showing signs of illness may be asked to vacate the paddock without a refund. If in doubt about your dog’s health please consult a veterinarian.
You are responsible for the behavior and actions of your dog while attending, so please be cautious if you are attending with family, friends or other dogs and their owners.
Any cruelty such as being violent to your dog will not be tolerated; we reserve the right to request any persons to leave the premises if they are abusive to any other person or dog without a refund.
Any accidents or issues involving a person or a dog must be reported immediately to a staff member. In the unlikely event of an altercation between two dogs, stand back alert staff and allow a staff member to address it.

If your dog is a 'digger' please keep an eye on your dog and distract from digging where possible as we want to keep the ground free from trip hazards for customers as well as dogs
This term applies to all types of use of our premises including but not limited to paddock hire, events, shows, training sessions or other facility uses. Please ensure that your dog is up to date with vaccinations. We want to ensure the paddocks remain a safe environment, therefore any dog in your care whether owned by you or not must be flead, wormed and up to date with vaccinations; if you do not own the dog but attend with it, it is your duty to check everything is up to date prior to attending, you may be held liable for any spread of disease or infection caused by the dog(s) you have attended if they were the cause and no reasonable steps were taken.
You agree that your dog(s) vaccination is up to date (or titer tests) and agree that we may request proof of this at any time. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience, but due to concerns of human and animal safety, we are not able to make exceptions to the above requirements.
Use of the paddock
Owners hire and use the paddock for their own walk, at their own risk. We accept no liability for any injuries or accidents to either the users of the paddock or their dogs. Whilst we endeavor to ensure escape is not achievable and hold daily risk assessments of the enclosure, we cannot be held liable for any dog escaping the paddock. Should this occur you must notify a member of staff immediately.
Toys are permitted to be used in the paddock at the owner’s or hirers own risk. Please ensure all items are removed at the end of the session if yours or put back in the toy box if you use ours.
The paddock is by appointment only and will give you exclusive use during your allotted time; there will be no other people or dogs inside the paddock other than those attending with you.
Any dog showing signs of ill health will not be permitted to use the paddock. Please cancel any session you have booked until your dog has recovered.
We cannot be held liable for any dogs fighting that have chosen to share a session i.e friends sharing.
Please note this is a natural field with a natural wooded area, the ground will have bumps and slopes and the woods are just like any on a public park, they are likely from time to time have some nettles, possible thorns, tree roots or even berries and so forth, please supervise your dog and be cautious when walking as not to trip :D
Fleurs Friendly Fields is not liable for any death, damage, injury or loss to any person or animal while using the facility or the equipment within it, or to any third party as a result of any person or dog.
The equipment is for canine use only. Before using the facility or the equipment within it for example agility jumps, visit the vet to ensure that dogs are physically fit and strong enough to perform activities. Be sure to supervise children as many agility items get broken due to children climbing/playing on them which could become a hazard for dogs as well as the children themselves.
Do not use equipment in wet or icy conditions as surfaces become slippery.
Dogs must never be picked up and placed on obstacles. When using equipment above ground level dogs must wear a harness so that they can be supported during the exercise.
Never push dogs to do anything that they are not physically or mentally capable of. Allow dogs to go at their own pace and always give them the option of not doing something.
Always start with small versions of skills practiced in a slow and controlled way with several repetitions. Shaping techniques (rewarding for each successive step that is closer to the final goal) are recommended.
Ensure dogs warm up properly with several repetitions of smaller, slower, simpler behaviors prior to working on the more complicated skills.
Booking for any of our services is required prior to attending, we do not accept walk-ins and please do not enter the farm or paddock for a look around - if you would like to view before use this is no problem at all just let us know when you would like to view so we can prevent any disruption to customers. In order to book you may call, text or book online via our website.
For events or shows, these will be updated via our website and have their own entry/booking section, you must book via the website and not over the phone. Each entry is per each individual dog – i.e 1 entry is for 1 dog. You must complete the requested steps on the online booking system when the events are made live.
Any dog showing signs of ill health will not be permitted to use the paddock. Please cancel any entry you have booked until your dog has recovered.
Payments must be made before or on arrival of your session. Payments can be made via the online booking system or cash on arrival.
Cancellations for paddock hire must be made at least 12 hours prior to the booking or a refund cannot be issued, we know life can sometimes throw up the unexpected so we try to be as flexible as possible and allow you to still reschedule as late as 30 minutes prior to your appointment as not to lose out on any payments made. We are the only local company that offers this flexible rescheduling option without adding on charges!
You may cancel by call, text, email or via the online booking system. If the call is not answered please leave a voice mail covering full booking details i.e name time date. Should you not cancel in advance or reschedule within the time periods above (12 hours cancellation/30 minutes rescheduling) - your account will still be charged for the time slot automatically. By making the bookings and signing up as above you have agreed and authorised payments to be charged for your timeslot should you fail to attend or reschedule, this automatic charge applies to cancellations for all facilities i.e daycare/training/paddock.
Any cancellations for training or workshops must be made at least 24 hours prior to the booking or a refund cannot be issued. We have the right to charge your account should you book training services and fail to show or cancel (unless in extreme circumstances) as this will prevent others from being able to access our services.
Cancellations for events/shows must be made 7 days in advance to allow for the slot to be filled or you will only be entitled to a 50% refund as the costs for your dogs' attendance would have already been allocated; any cancellations made within 24 hours of the event/show cannot be refunded.
That said we will always work with you and help where possible so please contact us if you face any issues.
All dogs must be kept on leads if entering and leaving the paddock - though you are welcome to park on the parking space provided within the paddock.
Please be mindful that some dogs do not react well around other dogs so we advise that dogs should remain in vehicles until the previous user of the field has secured their dog in their vehicle.
Dogs must be retrieved and ready to leave the paddock at the end of the allotted session time. On leaving the paddock, please ensure that the gate is closed. Any owners that are unable to retrieve their dog must notify a member of staff.
Any person under the age of 16 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times; we accept no liability for any damages of unsupervised children on site.
We actively encourage children to get involved in the fun side of training, however, dependent upon the training required i.e desensitizing your dog to other dogs, children may not be allowed to join should any aggression or injury be a possibility.
We cannot accept any liability for any damages or injury caused by your dog during training it is therefore requested you make the judgment of your child and dogs relationship prior to getting them involved. Please note we may still refuse your child's involvement if we have any concerns for their safety.
We will provide waste bins and poo bags free of charge, however, the free poo bags cannot always be guaranteed so we ask owners to bring their own poo bags should the free supply of poo bags run out. All waste must be collected by the owner prior to the end of the session.
Training sessions can be arranged during the paddock hire in 30 or 60-minute slots for 1-1 training (unless a class has been arranged or stated otherwise), a tailor-made plan will be created for each individual dog free of charge after the first session for the owner to continue the progress. It is currently our policy not to allow dogs that show aggression towards humans into training sessions but we are happy to signpost and support you. Please complete the training questionnaire prior to arrival, this can be downloaded by clicking HERE. Alternatively, if you need any support completing it you can do this once you arrive.
Welfare and safety:
All dogs must be kept under the owner’s control and on a lead, except where specifically instructed by our instructors. You are responsible for the conduct of your dog at all times. Dogs in class or training must not lunge or bark at other dogs present.
We provide a safe and secure environment as practicably reasonable and endeavour to apply good practices with all our training services. We endeavour to run all classes in as safe and professional manner as possible. Fleurs Friendly Fields also takes all reasonable precautions when providing behavioural services to minimise the risk of injury from being bitten. However remote, dog training is not without risk therefore participation in training and behaviour services is at the owner’s risk. Fleurs Friendly Fields or any of its individual assistants, or helpers, will not accept responsibility for any loss, injury or damage to any persons, or dogs attending a course, or to their property howsoever caused during the provision of dog training activities.
Owners are advised to have appropriate pet insurance cover that includes third party liability insurance. Fleurs Friendly Fieldshas public liability and relevant business insurance to run classes and provide behavioural counselling, providing adequate cover for our business liabilities.
Fleurs Friendly Fields Will not take responsibility for misinterpretation of advice. Whilst we hope you find the information and guidance given interesting and informative, the contents are for general information only. We believe the contents to be true and accurate as at the date of the session but can give no assurances or warranty regarding the accuracy, currency or applicability of any of the contents in relation to specific situations and particular circumstances. As such, the contents should not be relied upon and professional advice should be taken in specific cases. In addition, none of the content of the session will form any part of any contract between us or constitutes an offer by us. Specific disclaimers may apply in addition to certain content or parts of the session.
Children in class:
We encourage family members to attend training. Children are welcome and when encouraged to participate often make competent handlers. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Children are encouraged to behave appropriately in the presence of dogs and are requested not to run, or distract the dog from working. For safety reasons it is advisable all children are educated in how to approach a dog.
Young children may not find training classes exciting. It can be challenging to supervise young children while training a dog. Very young children can become bored and may need another adult to supervise them. If you provide your children with entertainment during a class, please ensure it is quiet and will not distract the training.
As we do not offer onsite training for aggressive behaviour, and it is typically one to one based we may not require a consultation with your dog (subject to the type of training required). However, we do request that prior to attending any booked training you contact us prior with your dogs details (name, age breed, sex and
1. Your concerns, for example, play biting or poor recall,
2. Your areas of training requested to be covered, for example, leash pulling, basic commands and recall,
3. A description of your dogs personality/lifestyle/homelife and
4. Any prior training tried formal or informal.
Once you arrive we will recover your requirements and fill in a short questionnaire, you can complete this prior to arrival and bring it along with you or email it to us if you like.
A behavioural consultation helps to identify the underlying motivation for any unwanted behaviour. A programme will be devised for your needs based on my behavioural diagnosis and specific to your requirements to help you manage and modify this behaviour. Behavioural issues are often complex having taken time to develop. Therefore before proceeding it is necessary that any potential underlying medical condition or potential cause of pain that could be contributing to your pet’s behaviour is ruled out.
You will receive a specifically devised programme. This will be forwarded to you within 7-10 working days along with any help sheets that you may require. Aftercare support is provided for 8 weeks regarding the specific problem either by telephone or email. You are encouraged to liaise with me after the visit for ongoing support.
It may be necessary for the more complex issues, such as anxiety, multiple behaviour problems or for where there are multi-dog households, that follow-up visits are required. Any follow-up visits, should they be required, will be charged accordingly and you will be advised in advance to the cost.
Animal aggression can cause injury, including fatal injury, to other animals and people. Treatment for aggression is not a guarantee of success and modifying behaviour does not assure that the aggression will be successfully controlled. It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that their pet does not harm in the future. Precautions may involve, but are not limited to, keeping a dog on lead, the use of muzzle, informing others of the dog’s aggressive tendencies, not mixing with certain types of people or other dogs, or confinement behind fencing and doors. Owners remain responsible for their dogs at all times and are advised they have adequate pet or household insurance cover for liability in the unlikely event of damage or injury caused by their dog to property or to a third party. It is strongly recommended that your dog is insured for third party liability with or without vet cover.
It is also paramount owners understand that whilst we will use expert methods and support the owner, training is not always guaranteed for all dogs and for this reason the training is completed without a promised outcome. For example, one dog may learn sit in 10 minutes whilst it may take another dog 2 hours, each dog is individual and we will work with you to achieve your goals, but make it clear that by attending training you are not guaranteed the outcomes for each goal. It is also paramount that owners continue the advice and techniques shown to maintain the training.
Training Commitment: Fleurs Friendly Fields aims to work with you and your dog using reward based training methods. Our aim is to build on your relationship with your dog to create the best team. Each dog will have its own individual training plan that will be adjusted as and when required.
We reserve the right to change the content, timing, dates, or instructor. We try to avoid this as much as possible, but sometimes this is unavoidable, particularly with changes in the weather meaning we have to postpone a session (basic rain is no issue this is aimed more at extreme weathers).
If we know in advance that the weather will not be suitable we will let you know, however, often the weather can be very changeable from hour to hour. If a booking is canceled due to extreme weather, we will let everyone know who has booked by text, email or call as soon as we can at least an hour before the start of your session. We will then reschedule the booking to an alternative week or date.
Fleurs Friendly Fields will not be liable for any losses or expenses arising from amendments to the sessions or cancellations.
Course materials, where relevant, are usually supplied within 7 working days (after your session has been completed) via email. Follow up emails and course materials are supplied for your personal use and must not be copied or forwarded without permission under any circumstances.
Events and shows
Only dogs that have a reasonable level of training and obedience may enter our events as they are informal and fun more than competitive, no aggressive dogs can enter under any circumstances whether it be towards humans or other animals.
It is your responsibility to have read these terms prior to booking or registering as a user, should you attend with an aggressive dog or your dog shows signs of aggression you may be asked to leave the event without a refund and you will be liable for any damages caused by the dog(s) actions. We hope you can appreciate that we need to ensure the safety of guests and dogs during our events.
Whilst we will have strict selective policies in place for only selected temperament dogs to attend you must accept they are animals and cannot always be predicted. By registering or attending you agree that if your pet attacks, or is involved in a fight with another pet (and/or person), causing injury to that pet (and/or person), you will be responsible for any losses incurred as a result, including but not limited to, payment of veterinary fees in respect of injuries to another animal caused by your pet.
Whilst we will do everything possible to support and provide first aid on site, it is the hirers’ responsibility to alert emergency services in case of serious injury, whether for humans or dogs. If an injury is sustained on site it must be reported immediately so we can log it.
Business use (Trainers/dog walkers)
Our paddocks and facilities can be hired by other businesses such as dog trainers or dog walkers, these terms and conditions apply to you as they would any other attendee, however, you will be held to a higher level of care due to your professional knowledge, as an example, you will be expected to ensure your walking suitably matched dogs to prevent the risk of fights or injury to yourself if walking a group of dogs.
In order to use our facilities as part of your business, you must hold the correct business insurance and these can be requested from you at any time.
If any business activities are intended to be or actually carried out on our facilities you accept full liability for both any human or animal duty of care and accept full responsibility for any damages howsoever caused.
Website and social media
We may from time to time use images or videos where the attendees or dogs are included in the image for the likes of marketing, website or social media. Should you wish to not have certain people or dogs published, please inform us and we will ensure this does not occur. If you ever see an image you or your dogs are included in and wish it to be removed, please contact us and we will have this removed within 3 working days.
Whilst it is our policy to be able to take images of our facilities in use, we will where possible request permission out of courtesy.
For events or shows, we cannot guarantee you will not be included in published images or videos, by attending you accept to be included in videos and images. However, please notify us on your arrival if you do not wish to be included in these and whilst we cannot guarantee this we will try our best to edit and manage them to not include you.
Damage to property
Any damage sustained to the paddock during your session will need to be paid for by the hirer within 14 working days unless stated otherwise.
You are liable for any damage caused inside and outside of the field by you, your dog(s) or any person in your party. All dogs must be covered under their own third-party insurance (public liability insurance). This is usually included in your pet insurance.
Use of the field is entirely at your own risk. Fleurs Friendly Fields accepts no liability for the death of or any injury of any person or dog, or for damage to any property. Fleurs Friendly Fields also accepts no liability for any losses, claims, actions, damages, costs, expenses or other liability incurred whilst onsite. Yours and your dogs' behaviour and actions are your sole responsibility and no claim can be made against Fleurs Friendly Fields. The field is hired for your own private use and owners will be expected to take care and skill when walking your dog as you would on a public park.
